The Museum of Typography is housed in a restored industrial building in the center of Chania and offers a fascinating journey through the evolution of printing. The collection includes rare antique printing presses, linotype machines, and a vast array of typefaces and printed materials from the 19th and 20th centuries. Visitors can see demonstrations of traditional letterpress printing and even try their hand at setting type or operating a press.
