The Ringpark is a continuous green space that wraps around the historic center of Würzburg, following the path of the former city fortifications. Created in the late 19th century, this park stretches for about 3.5 kilometers and features a mix of open lawns, tree-lined avenues, flowerbeds, and small ponds. It is a popular spot for locals to walk, cycle, or simply relax. Along the park, you'll find several monuments, fountains, and playgrounds. The Ringpark is divided into sections, each with its own character, from the formal gardens near the Residenz to more wooded areas. It provides a peaceful escape from the urban bustle and connects many of Würzburg's key attractions, including the Residenz and the Congress Center.
