Linderhof Palace is the smallest but most ornate of King Ludwig II's castles, inspired by the French Rococo style. Nestled in a tranquil valley near Oberammergau, it features opulent rooms like the Hall of Mirrors and the king's bedroom. The surrounding park is a masterpiece of landscape architecture, with terraced gardens, cascading fountains, and a Venus Grotto, an artificial cave with a lake and colored lights. Visitors can tour the palace interior, stroll the grounds, and see the Moorish Kiosk and Hunding's Hut. It is a testament to Ludwig's eccentricity and love for fantasy.
