Uzès Cathedral, officially Cathédrale Saint-Théodorit d'Uzès, is a former Roman Catholic cathedral now serving as a parish church. Its most striking feature is the Tour Fenestrelle, a rare circular bell tower with twin windows on each level, reminiscent of Italian campaniles. The cathedral itself was largely rebuilt in the 17th century after damage during the Wars of Religion. Inside, visitors can admire the grand organ, built in the 17th century and recently restored, which hosts regular concerts. The nave is light and airy, with Baroque altars and a marble high altar. The cathedral is part of the larger Le Duché complex, and its history is intertwined with the dukes of Uzès. A visit offers a serene escape and a chance to appreciate the blend of Romanesque and Gothic elements in the tower, which dates from the 12th century.
