Have been to Paris 3 times in the last two years and have finally managed to try this restaurant. What a find, I've always seen it packed so make sure to book ahead. The menu uses classic ingredients but adds a fresh take on the flavours. The atmosphere is relaxed but buzzy. A great neighborhood restaurant with a superb wine list and lovely staff. Would love to go again!
Went because of a friend recco and I was very very pleasantly surprised! Great service and very cute restaurant. Menu changes seasonally. I had the 8 hr stewed lamb, honestly it was so tender! It had deep fried cauliflower and chick peas for crisp and the flavour was so well done and light. Dessert we had a citrus fruit one which was creamy and fresh. I was told though the recommended dish was the Rabbit with Chou! Will come back to try that for sure. Also found out that this is actually the #1 bistro of Paris in 2024, well deserved! Thank you! EDIT: came back a second time to try their signature rabbit it appetizer. Super delicious! Was also recommended to get the pate en croute, but will need to save that for next time :)
Vibrant, fun but adult ambience coupled with interesting takes on traditional bistro fare. Everything we tried was "clean the plate" tasty. Highly recommended.
Exquisite presentation and flavors. Arrived for lunch with no reservation on a Thursday. My mouth was so happy and uncomprehending of what was happening to it. I told this to the chef and he blushed. Started with the rabbit. An extraordinary salad exploding with tarragon and vinegar and croutons and about a thousand other flavors served under cover of a flawlessly steamed (?) cabbage leaf. Then the duck. I have no words. Finished with a lovely child-palate dessert of peanut cookie and ice cream scaled up for adult presentation. The whole atmosphere of the place was just lovely, causal and elegant. There is a reason the NY Times raved about this place in 2023.
