An exquisite experience. The food and service were wonderful. The sommelier was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The servers were fun and friendly. They even indulged my desire to hear everything in French and sometimes repeating in English. They accommodated my pescatarian partner. I liked not knowing what each dish would be in advance. It’s rare to have so many courses and still every dish is excellent. We were there for five hours, which actually might have been a little too long. I was so tired by the time I left at 1am. Highly recommend this place!!!
I cannot say enough about this incredible restaurant! I had the most excellent fortune to sit at the chef's table during my recent Saturday lunch. I heartily recommend it. Being that close to Chef Maxime and his team is a fantastic experience. Their commitment to precision and sustainability is impossible to miss. The servers are also 🌎 class. Sommelier Vincent took me on a 🍷 journey I can only dream to experience again... And the food... The scallops, alone, are worth the price of admission. (And perhaps the ✈️ as well...) The 🧀 course is a must! I cannot wait to return!!
I went to Geosmine with a friend. I chose this restaurant mainly because it’s awarded a Michelin star earlier this year and it’s close to the hotel where I stayed in Paris. There’s only 1 menu for dinner (140 euros per person). I forgot how many courses there’re. Young chef Maxime Bouttier’s dishes included both hits and misses. The octopus and scallop entrees were good. The chocolate dessert was by far the best dish of the night. However, a couple of dishes, including mamelle, were too salty. Food portions tended to be small. I was only about 70% full after my dinner. The service was spot on. There’re 2 floors and we’d a table on the airy and high-ceilinged ground floor which I think is so much better than the seatings upstairs.
Very good and unique food and experience. Over 11 (+3) different small dishes. Good wine pairing by the sommelier. Excellent service.
