✨ HighlightNot a good sign when the guests were tourists except for four French but they were not returned customers. The restaurant's claim was cuisine from around the world. It was kind of interesting with the different amuse bouches such as tamales. However it was disappointing of pasta with tiny pieces of chestnut and Jerusalem artichoke as the first plate. The main plate of thinly sliced veal in Japanese style was tender and was beautifully presented. However, the major problem was all the taste was bland and just not refined French cooking.→

✨ HighlightDon’t come here if you’re looking for a bargain… Everything was impeccable. Food was exquisite, well executed, tasty and beautiful. Some dishes came with fresh white truffle which smelled divine. Staff was friendly and professional. The room and ambiance was first class- a very classic French experience. The wine was outstanding. The sommelier did a great job. All do this comes at a hefty cost- not unusual at this level but something to be aware of. We declined the offer of extra truffle-which would have added €110 pp to the bill. Two glasses of champagne were the same price as our (excellent) bottle of Chablis (the wine pairing option was a bit steep at €180). As is often the case, lunch is more reasonable. We knew the chef from his pre-Michelin days, when he ran a small restaurant in our neighbourhood. He’s come a long way!→

✨ HighlightWe went here for lunch. Had high hopes for the Michelin rated restaurant. I was a little disappointed. Nothing really appealed to me and nothing jumped out as wow! There were also a few problems. The fish with the single mini clam, I almost had to spit out the clam because it was so fishy. The fish was ok…. The meat dish was strange, I don’t know which part of the cow this was from, but it had so much tendons and so much fat, didn’t get much out of it. Though the little I was able to carve out it did have a nice smoky flavor. We chose the four course prefix because our stomach hasn’t adjusted to the time zone and couldn’t eat that much which was technically our breakfast. There were some chips on the table. Unique. Liked them. The mushroom ravioli was ok. The first vegetable dish was meh. The dessert was ok. We were in a hurry by this time. If we had more time and our stomach was time adjusted, would have wanted to try the A5 wagyu for an extra $50. They gave different cutlery for each dish. Their service was up to Michelin standards. There is a single bathroom with a Japanese bidet. Would love to give this place another try next time we are in Paris.→

✨ HighlightTable is really overpriced for a 2* Michelin restaurant. We are welcomed by the chef/owner which is really nice. The service started very good, and we noticed that the quality of service went down a lot the further into the evening. The overall quality/taste/presentation of the food was not what we expected. We even didn’t finish some the courses that is been served, and we have never been asked why we didn’t finish the dish or whether we have enjoyed the food. However we did noticed that waiters who came to collect the finished dishes made weird eye contact to each other when we didn’t finish the food. Also some the courses are presented in plastic plates, and I think it’s not acceptable for that kind of restaurant.→

The chef text my husband and offered us a bar seat in front of the kitchen, which we accepted. The owners/staff were great and extremely welcoming from start to finish! They even gave us some little tasters and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Food was absolutely out of this world, not a single criticism.....I would recommend clutch to anyone that is visiting Paris! By far one of the best meals we have ever had and the staff were genuinely lovely!!→
