There is no menu, however it included 3 appetizers, 2 second courses (fish and meat) ending with 2 desserts. Our favorite were the scallops carpaccio, full of flavors and textures. We upgraded with caviar. The beef Wagyu which was upgraded was perfectly rare, tender and soft. The sommelier did a great job. All do this comes at a hefty cost- not unusual at this level but something to be aware of. We declined the offer of extra truffle-which would have added €110 pp to the bill. Two glasses of champagne were the same price as our (excellent) bottle of Chablis (the wine pairing option was a bit steep at €180). As is often the case, lunch is more reasonable. We knew the chef from his pre-Michelin days, when he ran a small restaurant in our neighbourhood. He’s come a long way!→

Liked them. The mushroom ravioli was ok. The first vegetable dish was meh. The dessert was ok. We were in a hurry by this time. If we had more time and our stomach was time adjusted, would have wanted to try the A5 wagyu for an extra $50. They gave different cutlery for each dish. Their service was up to Michelin standards. There is a single bathroom with a Japanese bidet. Would love to give this place another try next time we are in Paris.→

The service started very good, and we noticed that the quality of service went down a lot the further into the evening. The overall quality/taste/presentation of the food was not what we expected. We even didn’t finish some the courses that is been served, and we have never been asked why we didn’t finish the dish or whether we have enjoyed the food. However we did noticed that waiters who came to collect the finished dishes made weird eye contact to each other when we didn’t finish the food. ✨ HighlightI’m quite surprised how this restaurant got the fame that they have. It certainly is wonderful in a million ways but also quite unpretentious and normal for the paranoid ranking geeks. The atmosphere is very casual and service is very friendly bordering on informal but never careless. The dishes in the set menu are subtle and gentle with most tastes requiring some love of balance and clean taste to be appreciated. Be it the comte butter with brioche, salmon with sour greens sauce or salad with almond mushroom (play on sauté) sauce, there’s nothing here to impress directly but, in a sense removes formality and decorum to make you see what balance and impeccable technique can achieve. Then there is a more risque dish like potato risotto. The sauce would make any risotto amazing but it works so beautifully with the undercooked potato that it makes perfect sense for you to experiment with potatoes more at home. On the other hand, you may just think that the undercooked potato is nothing to get excited about and hate the dish. It’s a special place for a reasonably prepared foodie and its informal atmosphere, at least to me, makes it easier to enjoy the chefs craft.→

✨ HighlightThe waiters here are classy. Aude took care of us and she was wonderful. The food was tasty. It's a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. The sauce on the beef tartare was excellent, just enough flavors so it doesnt take away from the full taste of the beef. I really wish the wagyu steak had better texture but it was still good. The staff at the bar counter are super cool and passionate about the place they work in. We tasted a wide variety of wines and spirits. But the best part of it all was the dishes we had: half way between tapas and proper dishes, ideal for sharing and ordering a multitude of them. The even better surprise? The bill. Although it's not a cheap place, value for money's great, considering the quality and quantity of items ordered and wines tasted. Can't wait to be back!
