L'Astragale is the second marked walking trail on the hills surrounding Giverny, easily identified by its sky-blue arrow markers. This outdoor route takes hikers through the picturesque countryside that inspired Claude Monet, with rolling fields, woodland patches, and glimpses of the Seine Valley. The trail is moderately easy, suitable for casual walkers and families, and provides a peaceful escape from the more crowded village center. Along the way, you'll encounter varied terrain and seasonal wildflowers, with benches at key viewpoints for rest and reflection. The trail loops back to Giverny, making it a convenient half-day adventure that combines light exercise with stunning natural beauty.
