Courchevel 1650, also known as Moriond, is one of the main villages of the Courchevel resort, situated at 1,650 meters. It offers a more relaxed and family-oriented atmosphere compared to its glitzy neighbor, Courchevel 1850. The village is built around a central square with shops, restaurants, and ski lifts that provide direct access to the Three Valleys ski area. In winter, it's a popular base for intermediate skiers, with numerous blue and red runs. Summer brings hiking, mountain biking, and a golf course. The architecture blends traditional chalets with modern amenities. Courchevel 1650 is well-connected by free shuttles to the other villages, making it a convenient and affordable option for visitors.

- Try the luge (summer toboggan run) for family fun
- Hike to the nearby 'Lac de la Rosière' from the village
- Enjoy après-ski at the bars around the central square
