The Cité de l'Océan is a modern, interactive museum and theme park in Biarritz that explores the world of the ocean and surfing. Designed by architect Steven Holl, the building itself is a striking architectural landmark, shaped like a wave. Inside, visitors can engage with hands-on exhibits about marine biology, oceanography, and surf culture. Highlights include a simulated surfing experience, a giant aquarium touch tank, and displays on the science of waves.
