The Aquarium de Biarritz is a historic Art Deco building perched on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. Inside, visitors explore a series of tanks housing over 300 species of marine life, including sharks, rays, sea turtles, and playful seals. The highlight is the large shark tank with a walk-through tunnel that gives you a 360-degree view. The aquarium also features exhibits on the region's fishing heritage, including models of traditional boats and displays on whaling history. The architecture itself is a draw, with its elegant 1930s design and sea-facing windows. It's an educational and entertaining experience for all ages, especially families.
