Château de Brissac is the tallest château in the Loire Valley, rising seven stories high. Located just 15 km from Angers, it offers a glimpse into aristocratic life with its opulent interiors, including a grand salon, a theater, and a chapel. The château is still inhabited by the Duke of Brissac and his family, giving it a lived-in feel. Visitors can tour the state apartments, admire the Renaissance and Gothic architecture, and stroll through the formal gardens. The château also produces its own wine, and tastings are available. The combination of architectural grandeur, family history, and scenic surroundings makes it a memorable stop.
