The Pommern is a four-masted barque built in 1903, now a museum ship permanently anchored in Mariehamn's Western Harbour. Visitors can explore the decks, crew quarters, and cargo holds, experiencing life aboard a windjammer that sailed grain routes from Australia to Europe. Its well-preserved rigging and original fittings make it a standout example of early 20th-century merchant sail. The ship is part of the Åland Maritime Museum complex, providing context on Åland's seafaring heritage.
