The F.P. von Knorring is a historic four-masted steel barque built in 1906 in Glasgow, now permanently moored as a museum ship at the Åland Maritime Museum in Mariehamn. Visitors can step aboard to explore the captain's quarters, crew quarters, galley, and cargo holds, gaining insight into life at sea during the twilight of the sailing ship era. The ship is remarkably well-preserved, with original fittings and equipment. It stands as a testament to Åland's rich maritime heritage and the global importance of its shipping fleet in the early 20th century.
