Kreenholm is an island in the Narva River, historically significant for its large textile mill complex founded in the 19th century. The factory was one of the largest in Europe and played a key role in Narva's industrial development. Today, the red-brick buildings and towering chimneys stand as a striking industrial heritage site, visible from the riverbanks and bridges. While the interior is not generally open to the public, the exterior architecture and the dramatic setting against the river and Narva Falls make it a compelling landmark for history and photography enthusiasts.
