You can dine here as in a middle-age pub. But do not expect lack of manners and electricity. Everything we ordered (and the extra stuff we did not order) was delicious and authentic. If you want to experience something Estonian, this is a good place to start. Bogs can be conquered easier with a full belly :-)
very cute pub/restaurant; very charming interiors and delicious food too. definitely worth a visit if you're driving around.
Nice local restaurant with traditional Estonian food menu.very large hall with big tables, good for quick lunch.
We had a really nice visit to this uber-traditional restaurant a few steps from Palmse Manor. They serve comfort food with a lot of flavor. Their classic dish, the Mulgipuder (in the photo), is an interesting combination of potatoes, barley, bacon and onion. The environment in the historic building is very enjoyable. We also liked the amiable service.
