Very welcoming service right from the start. Plenty of good food options, all within reasonable cost. The place also has outdoor seating with a decent view over the city towards the harbor. This is easily the best restaurant overall I've yet to see in Tallinn, with the service being absolutely the friendliest.
My husband and I had my birthday dinner here and we really liked the New York steak with grilled vegetables. Use the truffle sauce with the potatoes NOT the meat, tho - the steak was delicious as it was, without the sauce, but we did add salt & pepper for our personal tastes. The vitello tonato was okay - the sauce was fabulous but the meat was tasteless, tbh. The suggested wines went well with the meats, so thank you for the lovely suggestions to the waitress. The bread rolls were warm & fresh & came with flavoured butter - loved those. We didn’t get to taste the desserts and must come back for those as we were full on the entree & steak. Nice, friendly service. Parking is not a problem. Atmosphere is great - you can choose to sit outside on the terrace in the summer and there is also a covered glass terrace with a view of the old town. Prices are reasonable.
Enjoyed a late night dinner (21:00) on the terrace. The view of the sunset was spectacular. The food left some to be desired. They were out of ribeye steak so I took the New York strip instead. It was a pre-packaged steak (not hand cut) and surprisingly thin, which meant medium rare was not possible. The mushroom steak sauce was very earthy and comforting. The mashed potatoes cooked to perfection. I was worried I would be turned away when I arrived and no one else was in the restaurant but they were very accommodating. I would definitely go back but I would not order the steak.
The food was good especially the chicken pasta. It would be great if there were also dishes for people with wheat allergies. Special thanks to the waitress Katrin.
