Mount Sinai, also known as Jebel Musa, is a 2,285-meter peak in the Sinai Peninsula, sacred in Abrahamic traditions as the site where Moses received the Ten Commandments. The climb, often undertaken at night to reach the summit for sunrise, takes about 2-3 hours via the Camel Path or the steeper Steps of Repentance. At the top, visitors find a small chapel and mosque, with panoramic views of the surrounding desert and mountains, creating a profound spiritual experience.
Don't miss
