The Tomb of Tutankhamun, located in the Valley of the Kings, is renowned for being one of the few royal tombs found largely undisturbed. Visitors descend a steep staircase into a small burial chamber, where the iconic golden death mask and sarcophagus once lay. Though the treasures are now in the Egyptian Museum, the tomb itself still contains the boy king's mummy in a climate-controlled case. The vivid wall paintings depict scenes from the afterlife, offering a glimpse into ancient Egyptian beliefs. Its modest size contrasts with its immense historical significance.
