Order the butterfly buttered prawns!!! The mussels and baby clams were a nice lead us snack as well. Crabs were a little over cooked but everything else made up for it. Enjoy!!! Also, no alcohol to wash down the buttery goodness unfortunately.
This place is amazing everything is perfectly made you will literally enjoy everything starting from the appetizers and the fish the shrimp the clams the crab and the pasta super delicious don’t forget to try the seafood rice it will blow your mind
The six of us wished to gather, over lunch, and agreed to meet at Samakmak for a late lunch. We truly enjoyed the food as well as service. We had soup & all kind of appetizers, besides a big fish baked in the oven, grilled shrimps & calamari both fried and baked. We truly enjoyed it all and highly recommend it.
Whenever in Cairo, I always try to have lunch here, quality of the seafood is excellent, fresh and tasty. If you dont like smoking go outside of Egyptian rush hours, this place is a real gem. Unfortunately it doesn't serve neither beer nor wine, otherwise it would be just perfect.
