I dined outside, right next to the water. Considering the fact that I went in a group of 15, the amount of time it took to get food was reasonable. I would definitely recommend the fries and the mixed kebab, they were salty and perfectly cooked. The only complaints I have is that the bread appetizer looked and tasted quite undercooked, and the cooked broccoli tasted extremely weird. We also got a furry companion walking around us.

Supreme choice for Egyptian cuisine! Great location by the Nile. Kebabgy isn't visited by tourist groups, being the choice of the few conoseurs. The service was exquisite from waiters to maitres..

This restaurant was selected by our tour company for an introductory Egyptian dinner for our group of 18. The setting is very nice along the Nile River and while the food is tasty, the service was extremely lacking. I cannot tell you what foods we ate as it was a set menu and no one described the foods to us. Even worse, at no time during our 2 hour experience were we approached for the drinks order, not even water. Plates were dropped at the table quickly and never cleared away; dessert never came. Since other tables as large as ours were served completely, I don’t know what the problem was. I will recommend our tour company NOT use this restaurant again

We were with a large group and went there as part of a pre planned outing by our tour guide. There was around 19 of us. We got there and sat down in a beautiful area right by the Nile River. It took forever to get the food which was served in stages and we NEVER saw a waiter or waitress thereafter. About 3/4 of our group NEVER had anybody come to take a drink order, even water was never served. I have never been any place in the world that this has happened. We waited forever for dessert and it did not come so we got up and left. As we were leaving they said dessert was ready. This whole event was pre planned and prepaid so we never saw a menu, but they did have a QR code to check it out. No one in the restaurant who worked there ever apologized for the service or lack there of. It is only my opinion that this was orchestrated on purpose by the restaurant because we were Americans. All other tables including large ones like ours appeared to be getting served without issues. Everyone in our group was very courteous and there were no incidents that would have triggered this treatment toward us.
