Alcázar de Colón is a 16th-century palace built for Diego Columbus, son of Christopher, and his wife María de Toledo. This coral-block structure served as the seat of Spanish colonial power for decades. Today, it is a museum displaying period furniture, paintings, and decorative arts from the late Middle Ages and Renaissance. Visitors can tour over 20 rooms, including the grand hall, chapel, and bedrooms, which evoke the opulence of colonial aristocracy. Its location overlooking the Plaza de España adds to its grandeur.

- Enjoy panoramic views of the Plaza de España from the palace's balconies.
