Haraldskær Woman is one of Europe's best-preserved bog bodies, dating from around 500 BC. Discovered in 1835 in a peat bog near Vejle, she lies in a glass case at Vejle Museum, her skin and internal organs intact due to the acidic bog environment. Visitors can examine her remains up close, along with exhibits explaining Iron Age life, death rituals, and the science of bog preservation. The museum's focused presentation makes this a hauntingly intimate encounter with ancient history.
