Aarhus City Hall is an iconic example of functionalist architecture, designed by the renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen and completed in 1941. Its sleek, minimalist exterior is dominated by a 60-meter-tall tower with a prominent clock face, a landmark visible from across the city. Inside, visitors can admire the clean lines, original furnishings, and thoughtful details that characterize Jacobsen's work. The building still functions as the city's administrative center, but guided tours are available to explore the council chamber, the mayor's office, and other historically preserved rooms. The surrounding City Hall Park offers a peaceful green space with sculptures.
