Sveti Jure, at 1,762 meters, is the crown of the Biokovo mountain range and the loftiest point along the Croatian coast. Reaching the summit by car or on foot rewards visitors with a 360-degree panorama that stretches across the Adriatic Sea, the Dalmatian islands, and the rugged limestone peaks inland. A small chapel and a telecommunications tower mark the top, where the wind often whips fiercely. The drive up the Biokovo Nature Park road is an adventure in itself, with hairpin turns and sheer drops. On clear days, the view is unforgettable, making this a must for hikers and nature lovers.
