Biokovo Nature Park encompasses the imposing Biokovo mountain range, rising sharply behind Makarska. It is a haven for hikers and nature lovers, with marked trails winding through diverse landscapes of limestone karst, pine forests, and alpine meadows. The park's highest point, Sveti Jure (1,762 m), provides breathtaking views of the coast and islands. Visitors can also drive the scenic Biokovo Road to viewpoints like the Skywalk, a glass platform suspended over the cliff edge.
