Very good authentic Italian restaurant. Argentina wine pairing evening. A bit expensive.

I have never been here before in fact in my short Stay over here this is probably one of my top restaurants, me and my friends who live here went to have dinner as a birthday celebration, they will most certainly be going back. We were welcome with a glass of Prosecco, then we ate oysters, spanish ham and culatello. Afterwards, I had the black tagliolini (this for me was the star dish) and my friends had the parmesan risotto and the short ribs (which looked amazing), everything with a bottle of wine that was suggested by Andre, which matched perfectly! For dessert we had a delicious tiramisu. The entire evening was amazing. I would like to thank to Maria, Andre and everyone else for making my friend´s birthday unforgettable.

Really enjoyed the food and ambience at the Paletto. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. When we entered the GM said hi and when we left the Italian chef came and saw us out. Very intimate and nice experience and the food looked and tasted really good. We went there once for a small business lunch with 4 people, and once they helped us accommodate a group of 15. Would highly recommend.

My spouse and I are very happy with the team at Paletto at the Ritz Carlton in Shenzhen. Our goal was to ensure an authentic Italian dinner with great service for my spouse's family and the team at Paletto did not disappoint. My spouse and I were in the area the day before our reservation so we stopped into the restaurant unannounced to have a look around and make sure the environment would be something our family would enjoy. We personally met the head chef - Lorenzo where he explained the menu and told us what to expect the next day while also giving us an opportunity to meet some of the team who would be servicing us. He briefed the staff on our dinner that was to take place the next day as well. They were kind enough to help us reserve a private room with less than 24 hours notice for our Christmas dinner. The day of the reservation they went above and beyond to ensure this was a special day. Anthony, Sherry, Johnson, Cessair, Iris and Fabio (the Sous Chef) read the room and like true professionals they ensured everyone in the group was happy. My spouse's family is Chinese and only speaks Mandarin and Cantonese and are used to very good Chinese dishes so we knew that Italian could be hit or miss here but they ended up accommodating our every request and even noticing my spouses Mom left wanting something with more of a Chinese style twist (she never said this, but they could tell). Anthony sprung into action and worked with a Chinese restaurant to get her a soup (without her asking) to compliment the dishes being served and lift her mood while making her more comfortable with the whole experience. We were amazed at how thoughtful him and the staff were and their ability to predict exactly what was needed to ensure each one of our guests felt special (almost as if they could read our minds). We are extremely grateful for the staff that served us and how they made us feel like we were the only customers in the world that mattered. It was clear that their mentality and mission was to make it make it a MUST that we had the best night possible. Everything from the first sip of wine to the Sourdough Bread through to the desert was executed amazingly well and the ability to adapt to each situation (even without us asking) showed how highly skilled your team was in servicing clients from around the world with different needs. To give you some context. My Spouse and I have travelled quite a bit and frequently eat at Michelin star restaurants and/or restaurants that charge much more than Paletto. This was easily one of best services we have received and not to mention the uniqueness of the plates and the taste. I would be shocked if they don’t eventually end up with a Michelin Star (but even if they don't they easily are Michelin quality) We were going to skip dessert, but I am glad we didn’t. Some of the most unique combinations of flavour and creativity came here (just to give you one example we are not big fans of Tiramisu but your Tiramisu was the best we have ever had and the creativity, thought and care behind each dish was made apparent. The Hazelnut chocolate dessert was a favorite amongst the crowd as well. I was so thoroughly impressed I asked for the name of everyone involved in serving us that night so I could share more about my experience. These are exceptional staff. We look forward to coming back again and I have already recommended you to my friends who live in Shenzhen and are looking forward to trying out your restaurant. Thanks again!
