Located high above the bustling city of Shenzhen, the Social All Day Dining Restaurant offers an extraordinary dining experience on the 95th floor of the St. Regis Hotel. With a perfect blend of international and Asian cuisines, this restaurant captivates diners with its stunning views and a vibrant buffet spread. Guests have praised the wide variety of dishes, from freshly cooked oysters to BBQ meats and sushi, creating a feast for the senses. However, the ambiance can get lively, especially during peak hours, making it a great spot for families and friends looking to enjoy a meal together. good
I came for the name St Regis Hotel and 95/F ! I am an expert of buffet. I tried a lunch buffet and it's expensive in Shenzhen but I prefer expensive so that the quality of food, service and customers would hopefully be better. The view is good as it's on 95/F overlooking the Shenzhen city. The food is good in general with wide variety including cooked oysters, BBQ meat which is however a bit overcooked, cold crab legs, Thai corner, burgers, dim sum, Chinese roasted meat, Japanese sashimi sushi etc. I particularly appreciate the colourful rainbow set of cocktail drinks. It's not a quiet and cozy ambiance that is usually expected from a 5-star hotel, with children running around. Overall I think it worths a try but I ma not interested in dining here again.
The food is great. They offer a 5 star experience for the palate- and it's reasonably priced too. However the restaurant is often crowded and falls short on the overall experience due to the pressure this puts on staff and the hussle and bussle it creates whilst you are *queueing* for food. The views from the restaurant are the selling point and the main reason for the madding crowds.
