The Kong Family Mansion, adjacent to the Temple of Confucius, served as the home of Confucius' direct descendants for over 2,500 years. Now a museum, it comprises 152 buildings arranged in three main sections: the official quarters, inner living quarters, and a garden. Visitors can explore furnished rooms, ancestral halls, and a collection of artifacts including calligraphy, clothing, and imperial gifts. The mansion offers a vivid glimpse into the daily life and influence of the Kong family throughout Chinese history.

Don't miss

  • The inner living quarters with period furniture and household items
