The Cemetery of Confucius, also known as Kong Lin, is the expansive burial ground for Confucius and his descendants, covering over 200 hectares. Visitors walk along shaded paths lined with ancient cypress and pine trees, some planted by disciples over two millennia ago. The site features a forest of tombstones, stone tablets, and memorial arches, with Confucius' own tomb marked by a simple stele. It offers a serene, reflective atmosphere, distinct from the bustling temple complex nearby.
