I had a wonderful time that makes my memory here. 8 years later, today, I remember the homemade sausages I ordered and the best time I’ve spent here catching up with my mentor before I travel to US to study. Lovely host I remembered.
The meeting point in Nanjing! I lived two years in Nanjing and this was the place to meet old and new friends alike. Both Chinese and international. It’s a very relaxing place with good British food, an outdoor seating area and a whiskey lounge upstairs which often holds special events such a comedy nights. Most important is the Scottish owner Ian who gives the soul to Finnegan’s and knows many people in Nanjing. Nestled in the beautiful downtown cultural historic area makes it the perfect location.
After traveling in Asia for business for several weeks this place is exactly what me and my associates were looking for. Ian was extremely welcoming and great to talk to. We had wings, chips, tacos and burgers…the food and staff are all top notch! The decor and atmosphere of this place is absolutely authentic. Loved it and can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve seen scotch here that I haven’t seen in Scotland. First place I’ll visit next time I’m in Nanjing!
