Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang

Lived this place, canal in front to run on in the mornings, scenic views from the breakfast area. The reception staff are really amazing, as was anyone I encountered during Mt stay. Central with a lot of F&B close by as is the tourist area with old school restaraunts and shops.

room toilet door cannot fully open ( half open ) as the door is blocked by the toilet faucet - and needed squeeze through the half open door to close the door and then can use toilet . Feedback to customer service was a hassle - and rude - claiming not to know about the problem and wanted to investigate if is guest problem . Very serious safety problem and hotel should NOT allocate such rooms to guest and not notifying them on the issue of a safety risk and sub standard toilet - as a marriott hotel . Check the toilet if hotel food not make corrections .

Great brunch at City Bistro in the Marriott Qianjiang! Congrats to the management who made the decision to help cut waste by creating a new, thoughtful menu that includes a plethora of choices, combined with a limited buffet, and the addition of individual hotpots. Great company, great food, great service ... and a great price!! The lamb chops and beef were standouts. My only complaint is that there were only a few of each dessert and they ran out pretty quickly. Since this is a new system, I’m guessing they’re still working to get the kinks out and this is easily remedied.

I am not sure why people are so ecstatic about this restaurant. Yes the service is good, the quality is good but it is just a basic restaurant like you have in any restaurant from this hotel chain. The menu simply offers standard American/Chinese food, nothing original.
