Terremotos were ok, but you can skip the maremoto. Food is standard Chilean fare but not well prepared and it arrived cold. Services bit slow. Atmosphere was ok but bathroom was a mess

Ordered terremoto for drinks and pichanga and arrollado for food. The portions are huge. We took our time to eat and the food was really good. It's a change of taste from fried or grilled style and we enjoyed them a lot. Very local and price was decent.

What can I say, this wonderful place is not for the faint hearted traveller. If you want to enjoy the fun side of life downtown with hard working locals here is the place to visit. The friendliest staff, great food and must have drinks (El Terremoto), lively warm hearted locals who love to dance. Viviendo una vida loca! 😁

We went at lunchtime and were herded into an outer room with a large metal tank inside it. We kind of missed out on the dive bar atmosphere inside. We had plates of lomo which was good and my husband had the rolled up pork which was dry but had a decent flavor. We skipped the earthquake drink because it just sounded gross. Based on the reviews think that was a good call. I had a half bottle of Cabernet instead. The waiter tried to get me a cup of wine but that was not on my menu so I ordered the 1/2 bottle for 6.500 approximately. I figured it was a ripoff of it was not on the menu. No idea if I am correct. The wine was enjoyable it was an actual half bottle not a carafe of boxed wine. I can see why people say this area is sketchy at night. It was a little rough around the edges but at lunch during the week we felt safe there. There were some police around and locals dropping in for lunch so it was no big deal on Thursday mid afternoon. Our bill ended up a little high for a dive bar and considering we saw a wine bar on Friday with a menu del dia with 3 courses and wine for around 13 per person and we ate at a local restaurant 6.000 pesos each today I think it was a bit of a tourist trap. Same reason I am not going back to the seafood market to eat. Seemed really expensive for what it was.
