Brackendale is a quiet village along the Squamish River that transforms each winter into a prime bald eagle viewing destination. Thousands of eagles gather here from November through February to feed on spawning salmon, making it one of the continent's best spots for eagle watching. The nearby Brackendale Eagles Provincial Park protects key roosting and feeding areas. Visitors can walk along the dike, join guided eagle counts, or simply watch the birds soar above the snowy peaks.
