Journey Behind the Falls is a unique attraction that takes visitors 150 feet beneath the surface of the Horseshoe Falls via an elevator. Once underground, you walk through a series of tunnels that lead to two outdoor observation decks, one at the base of the falls and another midway down. The experience includes feeling the ground tremble as millions of gallons of water crash overhead, and you can also peer through portals in the rock face directly behind the falling water. It offers a perspective of the falls that is both intimate and awe-inspiring.
