The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church located in the historic quarter of Veliko Tarnovo. Built in the 13th century, it features exceptional frescoes from the 14th century, including a rare depiction of the Ecumenical Councils. The church's architecture combines Byzantine and local styles, with a single nave and a dome.
