We were walking around rio vermelho and found Boteco. The outside art is breathtaking, which was done by Bel Borba. Highly recommend going early to sit outside in the alleyway. We saw a lot of people getting the octopus and black rice, and it did not disappoint. Get the “baby size” because this was the perfect size for two people. The regular size can feed 3-5. Overall, probably the best food in rio vermelho. The only downside would be the staff were a bit chaotic trying to get bills. I think the machine went down and it started to rain so looking to find seats for people sitting outside.

Lugar muito movimentado e sempre cheio. O atendimento é ágil e rápido. Cardápio extenso. Optamos por um arroz de polvo que estava espetacular e muito bem servido. Local descolado e sem frescura, bem no fervo do Rio Vermelho.
Muito satisfeito com o atendimento da casa e com o sabor espetacular da moqueca de peixe! Eu voltaria lá para comer o mesmo prato! E recomendo!
