Lake Pampulha

Lake Pampulha is an artificial lake created in the 1940s as part of a modernist architectural complex. Visitors can stroll along tree-lined paths, enjoy green spaces, and admire the surrounding cultural attractions, such as the Pampulha Art Museum and the aforementioned church. The area is popular for jogging, cycling, and picnicking, offering a serene escape within the city. Its distinctive modernist architecture, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, makes it a unique blend of nature and culture.
