Višegradsko Lake is a large artificial lake formed by a dam on the Drina River, just upstream from Višegrad. The lake's calm, emerald-green waters are framed by forested hills, creating a picturesque landscape. Popular for recreational activities, visitors can rent boats or kayaks to explore the lake, fish for species like carp and pike, or simply relax on the shore. Several picnic spots and small restaurants dot the lakeside, making it a favorite local getaway. The lake also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the iconic Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge in the distance.
