The Bikavac fire refers to a tragic event in June 1992 during the Bosnian War, when a house in the Bikavac neighborhood of Višegrad was set ablaze, killing dozens of Bosniak civilians. Today, the site is a memorial with a plaque and a small monument, set in a quiet residential area. Visitors come to pay respects and reflect on the war's human cost. The memorial is maintained by local survivors' associations and is often included in guided tours of wartime sites in Višegrad.
