Uzamnica camp was a detention facility near Višegrad used during the Bosnian War (1992–1995) to hold Bosniak civilians. Today, the site serves as a memorial to the victims, with a simple monument and plaques listing names of those who suffered there. Visitors experience a quiet, reflective atmosphere, with the camp's remaining structures, such as concrete barracks and guard towers, serving as stark reminders of the conflict. The memorial is maintained by local organizations and is a place for education and remembrance.
