The Gileppe area is a vast expanse of forest and rolling hills surrounding the Gileppe Lake and Dam. It is part of the High Fens – Eifel Nature Park, offering a network of well-marked hiking and cycling trails through dense woodland and open meadows. The lake itself is a serene body of water, reflecting the sky and trees. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the lake shore, a more challenging hike up to the dam, or a family picnic at one of the designated spots.
