Upscale dining experience at the heart of Gulshan at Le Meridien. Awesome spot. Went with a large group and the dining experience was fantastic, as to be expected. The service was amazing and the decor was also wonderful. Really felt like I was transported to Turkey! The restaurant also connects to the hotel two-story pool area so you are able to go out and walk the perimeters if you choose while your dinner is being prepared. The food was great. Overall, really liked everything. Though my favorites were the chicken and lamb kebab. Wasn't the biggest fan of the fish and the baba ganoush and tomato didn't appeal to me as much (hummus was great). The tomato just honestly felt like tomato bortha (even that probably would have tasted better). Overall, a nice experience that I would recommend once.
A very beautifully decorated restaurant to make you feel comfortable while you enjoy the turkish cuisine they serve. Their assortment of appetisers taste amazing with bread. The meat dishes I will say were a bit bland, in my opinion more spice and salt were required. One of the kababs in the platter were dry and difficult to chew. The cheese meatballs were a fun little treat that you can also enjoy with the bread. This was surprisingly the one thing we enjoyed the most from the table. The baklava was alright in terms of texture and authenticity but perhaps I prefer it a tad less sweeter. Overall, the food experience wasn’t too bad nor too good. Will recommend the place though for it will at least be a unique experience!
