Pflasterspektakel is Linz's premier street art festival, held each July in the historic Altstadt (old town). For three days, the streets become a stage for hundreds of artists from around the world, including musicians, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, and painters. The atmosphere is vibrant and family-friendly, with spontaneous performances on every corner. Visitors can watch fire shows, puppet theater, and dance, or join interactive workshops like stilt-walking or juggling. Food stalls offer international cuisine, and the festival is free to attend. It's a celebration of creativity and community, drawing over 200,000 visitors annually.
