Rossatz-Arnsdorf is a municipality in the Wachau Valley, comprising the villages of Rossatz, Arnsdorf, and others. It lies on the south bank of the Danube, opposite the famous town of Dürnstein. The area is renowned for its steep terraced vineyards producing Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Visitors can walk along the Danube promenade, visit historic churches, and enjoy wine at rustic Heurigen. Rossatz has a small ferry connecting to Dürnstein, making it a convenient base for exploring both sides of the river.
