The Hahnenkamm is a 1,712-meter peak in the Kitzbühel Alps, famous for hosting the annual Hahnenkamm downhill ski race, one of the most challenging on the World Cup circuit. The race's 'Streif' course is a bucket-list item for ski enthusiasts. In summer, the mountain transforms into a hiking and biking paradise, with trails offering panoramic views of the Tyrolean Alps. Visitors can take the Hahnenkammbahn cable car from Kitzbühel town to the summit, where there are restaurants, viewing platforms, and the Berghaus Hahnenkamm. The mountain also features the 'Gipfelhaus' at the top, with a terrace overlooking the valley. Even non-skiers can enjoy the thrill of the race course via a guided tour or by walking the 'Streif' in summer.

Don't miss
