Bochumer Hut (Bochumer Hütte) is a traditional mountain refuge situated at 1,428 meters in the Kitzbühel Alps, near the Grießen Pass. It is a popular destination for hikers in summer and skiers in winter, providing a warm retreat with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The hut serves hearty Tyrolean dishes like dumplings and schnitzel, along with drinks, and offers overnight accommodation in dormitories. The setting is idyllic: perched on a grassy slope with the Wilder Kaiser mountains in the distance. In summer, it is accessible via a scenic hike from the Grießen Pass or from the nearby town of Jochberg. In winter, it becomes a stop for ski tours and snowshoe treks. The hut is run by the German Alpine Club and maintains a rustic, welcoming atmosphere.
