Alpenzoo is Europe’s highest-altitude zoo, perched on the slopes of the Nordkette mountain range above Innsbruck. It specializes in the fauna of the Alps, housing over 2,000 animals representing 150 species. Visitors can observe native creatures such as brown bears, ibex, golden eagles, and bearded vultures in naturalistic enclosures that blend into the alpine landscape.
