Court Church

The Court Church, known locally as Hofkirche, is a Gothic church in Hall in Tirol that serves as a memorial to Emperor Maximilian I. The church's interior is dominated by the elaborate cenotaph, a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture, though the emperor is actually buried elsewhere. Surrounding the cenotaph are 28 larger-than-life bronze statues representing Maximilian's ancestors and heroes, each crafted with remarkable detail.
